Chris Helaire is getting ready to enter his senior year of high school football with Lafayette Christian Academy. He had an excellent junior year with the program reaching the finals of the LHSAA Division II (Select) playoffs where they were defeated by St. Thomas More High School in a close game.

"My previous football season was a fun and successful season accomplishing many goals I set for myself," said Helaire

Helaire has already received two offers from both Graceland College and Grinnell College and he's bound to receive more his senior year. He currently intends to attend Louisiana State University where he will major in either chemical engineering or kinesiology.

"My reasons for playing football is ultimately to have fun and get an opportunity to attend college for free," said Helaire

Helaire is an incredible force on the field. He had six total interceptions over the previous season and is bound to get plenty more in the coming season.

"I am excited to compete next season and prove people wrong," said Helaire
