Recruiting Spotlight: Landree Leblanc, QB, St. Charles Catholic, Laplace, Louisiana

Quarterback Landree Leblanc of St. Charles Catholic High School is a skilled prospect in Louisiana’s Class of 2027. Standing at 6’2’’ and weighing 180 pounds, Leblanc is a talented prospect in both football and baseball.

Leblanc put together an impressive junior season at quarterback, recording 1,448 passing yards, 474 rushing yards, and 21 total touchdowns with a state championship win in football. Leblanc was also a member of the baseball team where he won state, and he was the MVP of the state championship game.

‍

According to Lee Brecheen, Leblanc is a skilled multi-sport athlete who is a great leader as well.

‍

“This kid is a big-time leader with great skills for both football and baseball for college. He has a very good arm and also good feet in the pocket,” said Brecheen.

‍

In the classroom, Leblanc maintains a 3.9 GPA, showing that he is committed to his academics as well as his athletics. Once he gets to college, Leblanc wants to major in either electrical engineering or something in the medical field.

Leblanc spoke on what it is like getting to play for St. Charles Catholic.

‍

“Playing for St. Charles Catholic is something that I will never take for granted. I love the way my coaches and teammates push me to my best potential every day,” said Leblanc.

‍

Leblanc is currently committed to LSU New Orleans for baseball. Leblanc also followed in his father’s footsteps because his father played both football and baseball at St. Charles Catholic High School.
