Recruiting Spotlight: Antravion Kinsey, Athlete, Ringgold High School, Bossier, Louisiana
Athlete Antravion Kinsey of Ringgold High School is an athletically gifted prospect in Louisiana’s Class of 2027. Standing at 6’2’’ and weighing 170 pounds, Kinsey can be a threat both on offense and defense.
Kinsey put together an impressive junior season, recording 15 receiving touchdowns and 1300 receiving yards. Kinsey was also a member of both the basketball and track teams. In basketball, he recorded a total of 1,018 points throughout his high school career. In track, he was a long jump state champion.
According to Lee Brecheen, Kinsey is a physically gifted prospect who can play multiple positions on the field.
“He’s the best athlete on his team who can play several different positions on the field. This kid is very gifted, and he’s a big-time sleeper,” said Brecheen.
In the classroom, Kinsey maintains a 3.6 GPA, and he scored an 18 on the ACT, showing that he is committed to his academics as well as his athletics. Once he gets to college, Kinsley wants to major in chemical engineering.
Kinsey spoke on what it means to play for his coach and Ringgold High School.
“Playing for my school means a lot to me because I get the opportunity to represent my school, my teammates, my family, and my community every time I step on the field. My coach has helped me grow not only as a player but also as a person, and he continues to push me to work harder, stay disciplined, and become the best version of myself,” said Kinsey.
Kinsey does not hold any offers currently, but he would like to play college football at the University of Texas at Austin, Grambling State University, or Louisiana Tech University.
