Jacob Cowart, a defensive end from Live Oak High School, is entering his senior year with impressive stats. Last season, he recorded 60 tackles, 20 tackles for loss, 6 sacks, and 3 field goal blocks. His outstanding performance earned him first-team all-parish and second-team all-district honors.

Jacob enjoys fishing, hunting, and playing golf when he's not on the field. He is considering several colleges, for their football programs and school spirit. He aspires to play at Southeastern, where he plans to major in either mechanical engineering or construction management.

Currently, Jacob is in discussions with a few colleges about football opportunities, with Southeastern being a significant prospect. He speaks highly of his coaching staff, stating, “I love my coaches; I couldn’t ask for any better coaches.” He finds great satisfaction in his role on the field, noting, “My position at defensive end is honestly great. I love playing there and would not ask for anything else.”

Jacob’s dedication and passion for football are evident as he looks forward to his senior year and the potential opportunities ahead in his football career.
