Carter Callais, South Lafourche High, Cut Off, LA
Offensive lineman Carter Callais of South Lafourche High School is a developing prospect in the Class of 2027 who brings toughness, leadership, and experience to the offensive line. Standing 6’1” and weighing 270 pounds, Callais plays center for his high school team while also projecting as an offensive guard or center at the college level.
Off the field, Callais carries a 3.5 GPA and takes pride in representing his program and teammates.
“Playing for my school is a brotherhood—we go to war for each other every day,” Callais said. “We get better each and every day through the blood, sweat, and tears. Our coaches know the game and help us become better every day.”

According to Lee Brecheen, Callais is a prospect who made a statement to him.
“This is a kid who’s very underrated, I think would be a college starter for the right school, tough, strong, quick.”
Callais has also been active in gaining exposure, attending camps at Tulane University, University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Nicholls State University, and a Louisiana lineman camp to continue developing his skills.
In addition to football, Callais also plays baseball at first base, showing his overall athletic ability. Athletics run in the family, as Callais noted that his cousin played college basketball, while his parents were also involved in sports during their high school years.
With his size, footwork, and leadership qualities, Carter Callais is a Class of 2027 offensive line prospect who will continue to build his recruiting profile as he gains more experience and exposure.
