Knox Brothers Spotlight: Jordan Knox & Jaylen Knox

Knox Brothers Spotlight: Jordan Knox & Jaylen Knox, Woodlawn High School (Baton Rouge, LA)
The Knox brothers are quickly becoming two of the more intriguing young prospects at Woodlawn High School, each bringing a different skill set to the field while helping build the program’s future in Baton Rouge.
Jordan Knox | WR | 5’10”, 170 | Class of 2027
Wide receiver Jordan Knox is a developing offensive playmaker who shows flashes of big-play ability. Despite missing two games due to injury, he finished the season with 11 receptions for 159 yards and one touchdown. His quickness and ability to create separation give him upside as he continues to grow into the position.
Off the field, Jordan stands out in the classroom with a 3.8 GPA and has already begun building relationships with programs such as Abilene Christian University, McNeese State University, and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
“It’s a bigger blessing than what it seems,” Knox said.
Jordan plans to major in theatre in college while continuing to pursue football opportunities at the next level.

Jaylen Knox | CB | 5’10”, 163 | Class of 2027
On the defensive side, Jaylen Knox has already established himself as a playmaker in the secondary. The cornerback recorded four interceptions and four forced fumbles this past season, showing strong instincts, ball skills, and the ability to change the game with turnovers.
Jaylen has already taken a step forward in recruiting, holding an offer from Abilene Christian University.
“It’s great being around the team and my returning teammates because we’re building for something greater than our last season,” Knox said.
According to Lee Brecheen, both players bring long-term upside to the table.
“They’re really, really good sleeper athletes that can play multiple positions in college. Both kids have a chance to be starters in college one day at different positions,” Brecheen said.
With Jordan’s offensive upside and Jaylen’s defensive playmaking ability, the Knox brothers give Woodlawn a dynamic duo to build around. As both continue to develop physically and gain experience, they are prospects who could see their recruiting profiles rise in the coming seasons.
