2025 Record:9-3
2025 Playoffs: 1st Round beat Abbeville HS, and 2nd Round loss to Lutcher HS in overtime.
Signees Colleges: FS Dezyrian Ellis(LSU), DE Chris Addison(Mississippi State), Athlete Avery Johnson(Southern U), and DE Tavon Bell(Arkansas State)
2026 Non District Games:Week 1 Sterlington(Home), Week 2 Oak Grove HS(Away), Week 3 Madison HS(Home), Week 4 Airline(Away), Week 5 Huntington HS(Home), and Week 6 North Desoto HS(Away).
Team Outlook: “I think we will surprise a lot of people in 2026," said coach Burnett. “We lost a few big-time players to graduation but we return just as many big names and I think we will have a better team this upcoming season.” “We have a ton of leaders back to have another great year.”
I think for the 2nd year in a row the Patriot program can line up against anyone, skill-wise, and be equal to any power program in Class 4A or 5A. The Offense, I feel, returns the best Running Back in the US in Senior Trey Martin, a kid who is 5'10" 205 pounds and has a chance to be an NFL player one day, not just a DI player, special kid. The Offense will return a starter at Wide Receiver who will convert to QB, Kaiden Seals 6'3" 180 pounds, with a ton of talent to keep this program deep in the playoffs for 2026. More top skill talent back to watch will be WR Kaaron Jones 5'9" 165 pounds, 4.5 speed in the forty; RB DJ Neal 5'11" 200 pounds, 4.5 speed; WR/CB Tecorrian Spears 6'0" 175 pounds, 4.5 speed; WR Christian Hosea, new starter, 5'9" 172 pounds, 4.5 speed; CB Jacolby Brooks 6'1" 175 pounds, 4.5 speed; Josh Lewis 5'9" 170 pounds; CB/Safety Christian Jackson 6'0" 195 pounds, big-time leader; Safety Connor Linder 6'0" 182 pounds, tough, wow leader; CB/Safety Jacob Coleman 5'9" 172 pounds, new starter; WR Fred Edwards 5'8" 165 pounds, 4.5 speed; and rotating in Kelvin Leonard 5'8" 160 pounds as Strong Safety.
The Patriots will be younger in the Trenches but still talented, with the ability to add depth as the season goes along. Here's some Linemen and Linebackers to keep an eye on in the program: OC/OG Frederick Brown 5'9" 310 pounds, leader, 3-year starter; OT/DE Gerren Marzell 6'4" 225 pounds; OT Zerian Cooper 5'10" 220 pounds; OG Tucker Jones 6'0" 290 pounds; DE Derwin Jackson 5'10" 220 pounds; DT C.J. Jones 5'10" 290 pounds, big-time leader, 3-year starter; DE/DT/TE Josh Johnson 5'11" 260 pounds; TE Joseph Hilliard 5'10" 225 pounds; DE Malachi Grant 6'4" 225 pounds; OL/DL John McMurray 6'1" 215 pounds, getting reps; OLB Damieyon Moses 5'10" 200 pounds; LB Mekhi Smart 5'9" 230 pounds, leader; LB Colten Allen 5'10" 215 pounds, rotating in; OLB Jeremiah Lewis 5'10" 200 pounds, rotating in; and others competing for reps on Defense.
Special Teams starting at Punter will be two players rotating in, Trey Martin and DJ Neal. Starting Kicker will be Connor Linder. Long Snapper is wide open going into the Summer. In the return game, you have Kick Return Trey Martin, who can take it back any time he touches it, and Punt Return Kaaron Jones, also a big playmaker on Special Teams.

Head Coach:Mike Collins(3rd year)
2025 Record:8-5
2025 Playoffs: 1st Round beat Mandeville HS, 2nd Round beat Barbe HS and 3rd Round lost to Ouachita Parish HS
Signees Colleges: OL Van Martinez(ULM), DB Julian Burns(North Carolina), DB Jayden Reed(UL), and WR Ze’land Young(McNeese State).
Team Outlook: “Spring/Summer will be interesting .Defense will be very young overall. We do return our QB along with some Running Backs and Wide Receivers. Offensive Line will be a total rebuild for us,” said coach Collins. We only return 10 starters overall 6 on Offense and only 4 on Defense.”
The Offense returns starting Quarterback Parker Robinson 6'2" 195 pounds, who will have now two full seasons under his resume to become an elite QB in 2026. Once this kid puts it all together, which I think he will in 2026, the Tigers will be tough to beat in the end. The Offensive Line has a chance to be a really good unit, led by the most improved player on the team, OL Wesley James 6'4" 250 pounds, SR; Center Grant Vinson 6'0" 230 pounds, SR; OL Nick Ochoa 6'2" 315 pounds, leader; OL Drew Rutledge 6'1" 270 pounds; OL Jabori Dalton 6'2" 245 pounds; OL Aijalon Davison 6'2" 295 pounds; and OL Judah Williams 6'2" 242 pounds. The run game returns a lot of depth with a few players able to lead, led by RB Jarvis Blackson 5'8" 207 pounds, power with speed; Athlete/RB Kayden Gray 5'9" 165 pounds, 4.45 speed; RB C.J. Goins 5'8" 160 pounds; RB Tahj Sanders; and Athlete/RB/CB Kayden Jones 5'7" 164 pounds. In the passing game you have a deep group back, led by WR Emaude Sledge 6'0" 170 pounds, SR, 4.5 speed; WR Desi Byrd 5'8" 152 pounds; WR Deuntra Scheanette 5'9" 170 pounds; TE Hunter Quinn 6'0" 218 pounds; newcomer TE Dillon Robb 6'5" 240 pounds; and TE/DE newcomer Konner Mason 6'7" 245 pounds.
The Defense will be young but talented, led by DE/OLB Jalen Watkins 6'2" 225 pounds, SR, sleeper; LB/RB Jakobe Collins 5'10" 205 pounds, SR, leader, all-out player; LB Myles Reichardt 5'11" 185 pounds; DT Jakaden Daniel 5'10" 230 pounds; DT Dillion Hawkins 5'10" 285 pounds; DE Brayden Jackson 6'2" 225 pounds; CB Greg Smith 5'11" 165 pounds, newcomer; Safety newcomer Trey Dade 6'2" 180 pounds; DB/RB Tahj Sanders 5'10" 165 pounds; CB Dan Evans 5'8" 160 pounds; DB Denim Nelson 5'10" 152 pounds; and DB Spencer Clark 6'2" 160 pounds.
Special Teams will be strong with Kicker/Punter Rivers Sorrell back with experience, 6'2" 172 pounds. You also have Punter Bryant Alvernia 5'9" 163 pounds leading as the starter at Punter with a good leg.

Team Outlook: “Summer Focus, spread like team (New Quarterback), get our timing down, little things work on for the Fall and replace some quality kids we lost to graduation," said coach Christman

The 1st time in 3 years the Indians have a new starting QB, Ronnie Stevens 6'0" 212 pounds, strong kid with good feet, 4.7 speed in the forty, great fit for this Offense to keep one of the best Offenses in North Louisiana rolling in 2026. More skill players to watch in 2026 are WR De'Andre Walker 6'1" 180 pounds, 4.6 speed in the forty, playmaker for the team in 2026; WR/CB Jeremiah Walker 5'10" 160 pounds; Safety Cayle Racine 5'10" 160 pounds; WR/CB Kentrell Bates 6'2" 175 pounds, another playmaker on the edge for the program; RB/FS Jackson Tarver 5'8" 165 pounds; WR/CB/Safety David Garrett 6'0" 170 pounds, big-time leader; RB Ra'mond Bennett 5'11" 180 pounds, newcomer to the Offense; and leader, 3-year starter WR Angelo Shelton 5'10" 170 pounds, who always finds a way to get open with great hands.

Special Teams, one of the best Kicker/Punters coming back for his 4th year as a starter, will be Ethan Bridges 6'3" 185 pounds with a cannon for a leg. Long Snapper will be Reece Hearn.

Team Outlook: “Last year’s record of 6-5 is unacceptable for this program,” said coach Rainwater. “Losing in the 1st Round is unacceptable,” “Plans are to eat leftover Turkey Sandwiches for Christmas break and still be playing football in December.”

Head Coach:John Diarse II(2nd year)
2025 Record:7-5
2025 Playoffs: 1st Round beat Minden HS, and 2nd Round lost to Plaquemine HS.
Signees Colleges: OL Azarion Wade, OL Jacob Dunn (Tyler Texas JC), Athlete Rakeem Reitzell (Louisiana Christian), and OL/DL Daniel Whitlock (Louisiana Christian)
Team Outlook: “Motto for team in 2026  ‘Be Callin’ a testament to kids where you need to be.’ We are in a  competitive market but the message is: all in, here at Wossman High School,” said coach Diarse. “We will go into the season with a very young Offensive Line.” “Also be able to grow the program with young passionate coaches here at Wossman High School.” “We do have a Quarterback battle and it’s a good problem to have and both kids will help this team win.” “We are a close knit team and hard work will pay off to reach our goals.”
I was able to visit Wossman High School in the Spring and came away so impressed watching how hard these kids were working for their young, passionate coaches. It was a sight to see, with great young athletes from Linemen to skill players all going 100% every rep, running or lifting with passion in the workouts.
Returning for the team is leader Quarterback, 3-year starter Jaterrance Long 5'11" 170 pounds, 4.5 speed in the forty, can also play WR or DB if not under center, great player, and then you have the young QB Zaccai Haley, who can line up under center and help this team win or at another position too. I think it gives the Wildcats the ability to keep opponents off balance, not knowing who to prepare for, a good problem to have.
More skill players to keep an eye on both sides of the football, tons of speed back, led by WR/TE Ca'Derrius Williams Jr. 6'3" 190 pounds; RB/WR Kentavious Griffin 5'11" 175 pounds, 3-year starter, leader, 4.5 speed, recovering from an injury, should be back sometime in 2026; WR Emareia Brown Jr. 5'8" 150 pounds; WR/DB Ronquarius Hargrove 5'10" 150 pounds, 4.4 speed, leader and 4-year starter; CB/Safety Jaxon Stewart 5'11" 170 pounds, big-time hitter, leader; WR/DB Den'Quarrius Green 5'9" 165 pounds, 4.5 speed in the forty; TE/WR Lamarion Kage 6'1" 185 pounds, 4.6 speed; DB Markeith Greer 6'0" 165 pounds; WR Kaden Sales 6'0" 175 pounds, best hands on team; CB/Safety Markeith Green 5'10" 155 pounds; DB Karmel Jones 5'9" 150 pounds; DB/WR Jaydyn Conner 5'11" 160 pounds; FS/SS Dexter Major Jr. 5'10" 172 pounds, 3-year starter, leader, big-time hitter; RB Zorian Knight 5'9" 160 pounds; and RB/Safety Zion Knight 5'8" 170 pounds.
Key Linemen and Linebackers back will be LB Demarion Price 5'10" 205 pounds, tough hitter, 4.6 speed in the forty; LB Austin Wilson 6'0" 225 pounds, 4.7 speed, tough; DT/DE Kobi Jordan Jr. 5'11" 230 pounds, leader, wow, plays with passion; OT/DE Stanton Green 6'0" 225 pounds; OG/OC/DT Keigan Joiner James 5'9" 295 pounds; Center/OG Tristan Washington 5'10" 240 pounds; Wenston White OG/OT 6'1" 225 pounds, leader; OT/OG Chris Finroy 6'3" 285 pounds; Center/FB Tristan Washington 5'9" 235 pounds; DT Chance Pollard 5'11" 275 pounds; DE/OLB Jayden Terrell Hubbard 6'2" 175 pounds; LB/DE Ryan Rush Wilson 6'0" 210 pounds; DE Brailen Mariland 5'11" 220 pounds; and DT Chance Daniels 5'10" 245 pounds.
Special Teams, starting at both Kicker and Punter, will be the experienced athlete Dexter Major Jr., who does it all for the team.
