District 3

Jonesboro Hodge Tigers

Head Coach:Terrance Blankenship(15th year)
2025 Record:9-4. District 5-1
2025 Playoffs:1st Round beat North Central HS, 2nd Round beat Vinton HS, and Quarterfinals lost to Haynesville HS
Signees Colleges: Athlete Landon Boston (Ottawa College in Kansas)
2026 Non District Games: Week 1 Lakeside HS(Home), Week 2 Delhi Charter HS(Away), Week 3 Winnfield HS(Away), Week 4 Lincoln Prep HS(Home), Week 5 Arcadia HS(Away)
Team Outlook: “Graduated 7 senior starters which all 7 players started on both sides of the football so we really lost 14 starters from the 2025 season,” said coach Blankenship. “Big shoes to fill. Need guys to step up and be leaders and fill those shoes in 2026.” “We will have a Freshman group of about 11 or 12 players which I am excited about to help us with depth in 2026 along with about a roster in the Fall of close to 40 players.”
The Offense, after Spring, still has two players competing at Quarterback, King Campbell 6'1" 165 pounds and senior Tysen Burks 6'1" 180 pounds. Both players will start for the program. If not at QB, Campbell also will be a LB/DB for the team, and Burks can also play WR for the Offense.
More players to watch in 2026 are WR/SS JaMarion Johnson 5'10" 160 pounds, RB/DT Cameron Jackson 5'8" 170 pounds, DT/OG Noah Murphy 6'1" 285 pounds, DT/OG Michael Malone 6'5" 325 pounds, OT/DT Reginald Hemphill 6'1" 228 pounds, had a good Spring, OT/DE Dylan Hayes 6'2" 225 pounds, WR/DB Victor Johnson 5'10" 170 pounds, RB Corelle Campbell 6'0" 180 pounds, newcomer, and WR/RB/LB Lon'Trevious Burns 6'1" 185 pounds, who also had a really good Spring practice for the program.
Special Teams: The new starting Kicker will be Victor Johnson and possibly also the Punter.

Lakeview Gators

Head Coach:Lawrence Seawood(3rd year)
2025 Record:0-10
Team Outlook: The Gators are still rebuilding and building their roster and team. Hopefully in 2026 they will be able to compete and keep getting better.
I wasn’t able to get an interview or get the information from coach Seawood after several attempts but wish him and the team well in 2026.

Logansport Tigers

Head Coach:Kevin Magee(13th year)
2025 Record:9-4
2025 Playoffs:1st Round beat Varnado HS, 2nd Round Beat Welsh and 3rd Round lost to Jeanerette HS.
2026 Non District Games: Week 1 Many HS (Away), Week 2 Buckeye HS (Away), Week 3 Bossier HS (Home), Week 4 Delta Charter HS (Home), and Week 5 Red River HS (Home)
Team Outlook: “New Offense that will fit our personnel will be a fast wide Offense,” said coach Magee. “We will be simple and efficient. We will have close to 40 players in the Fall as a team.”
The Offense will be led by new starting QB Kollin Magee 5'10" 165 pounds, who has experience at the position for the program. The Offense returns big-time playmaker, 3-year starter WR Kaiton Packett 5'9" 168 pounds, leader, playmaker WR/CB Jazavien Barnes 5'11" 160 pounds, 4.5 speed in the forty, and 2nd-year starter RB Demontrez Hill 5'9" 155 pounds, 4.5 speed in the forty, another big-time playmaker for the team.
More players to watch are FB/DE/LB Jayden Bledsoe 6'1" 185 pounds, returning starter, DT/OT Aiden Wallace 6'0" 300 pounds, strongest kid on the team, leader, 4-year starter, LB/FB/DE Jaylon Perkins 6'4" 215 pounds, 3-year starter, OT/DE Jaydon Perkins 6'4" 215 pounds, Safety/WR Barrett Falcon 5'8" 145 pounds, WR/CB Bryar Bossier 5'10" 160 pounds, great hands, 4.6 speed in the forty, DT Kameron Pouncy 6'0" 230 pounds, new starter, new starter LB King Jones 6'1" 180 pounds, and new starter OG Caleb Gannon 6'0" 250 pounds.
Special Teams: The Kicking position will be wide open through the Summer for the program.

Montgomery Tigers

Head Coach:Taylor Williams(3rd year)
2025 Record:5-6
2025 Playoffs: 1st Round lost to Grand Lake HS
Team Outlook: “We don’t have a Spring Practice because everyone plays other sports at the school," said coach Williams. “We will have a small senior class in 2026 season. Biggest challenge will be replacing most of our Linebacking group and for the 1st time in 4 years we have a new QB.” “We graduated 8 seniors from the 2025 team and that’s basically 16 starters gone from our small school (Players start both sides of the football).”
The Offense will have two really good Athletes competing at QB, T.J. Small 5'11" 160 pounds and Malachi Butler 5'9" 150 pounds, both really good players that can play multiple positions, WR/DB, if not QB for the team.
The Offense also returns WR/CB Eli Bullock 5'7" 145 pounds, All-State in 2025 with over 1,000 yards as a Wide Receiver. Then there's the talented RB Jeremiah Christian 5'10" 180 pounds, who can run a legit 4.6 forty (ran for over 800 yards in 2025) and has a chance to have a great year again in 2026.
More key players coming back are DB/WR Kyren Bonnier 5'8" 150 pounds, 2nd-year starter, OT/DT Logan Roberts, leader, 2nd-year starter, Center Gavin Edwards 5'7" 230 pounds, 2nd-year starter in every game in 2025, OL/DE Jace Ferrier 6'0" 180 pounds, TE/FB/WR/DE Kenny Reeves 5'11" 205 pounds, and several new young players helping the team with depth.
Special Teams: The Kicking and Punting duties are wide open. Coach told me they will try to not kick Field Goals again in 2026.

Ringgold Redskins

Head Coach:Desmond Leonard(3rd year)

2025 Record:4-6
2026  Non District Games: Week 1 Block HS(Away), Week 3 Pine Prairie HS(Away), and Week 4 Arcadia HS(Home).
Team Outlook: “The program will play for District in 2026. We were not playing for District in the 2024 and 2025 seasons. We will be a senior heavy team in 2026," said coach Leonard.
The program will rely on two big-time players who return in 2026, Athlete Antravion Kinsey 6'2" 163 pounds and QB Keone Moore 5'9" 160 pounds. Kinsey had 14 Touchdowns on Offense, and Moore at QB threw for over 1,900 yards.
There's also several players returning as starters to keep an eye on: OL/LB Andrew Bolyer 5'10" 195 pounds, leader, 3-year starter, CB/WR Zion Scott 5'11" 165 pounds, 3-year starter, Center Jaden Peterson 5'5" 150 pounds, DE/FB De'Jordan Jones 5'9" 175 pounds, WR/DB Daniel Davis 5'8" 150 pounds, 3-year starter, OT Jarrell McCoene 6'2" 205 pounds, RB Frederick Page 5'9" 165 pounds, and leader on Defense, OLB Jaboria Hamilton 5'7" 140 pounds, starter since the 8th grade.

St. Mary’s Tigers

Head Coach:Jacob Carruth(1st year)
2025 Record:6-6
2025 Playoffs: 1st Round beat St. John HS and 2nd Round lost to Ascension Catholic HS.
2026 Non District Games: Week 1 Vidalia HS (Home), Week 2 Red River HS (Away), Week 3 Menard HS (Home), Week 4 Grant HS (Away), Week 5 Winnfield HS (Away).
Team Outlook: “St. Mary’s has had a lot of tradition over the years and success,” said coach Carruth. “I think the players are already here to get it back to the level the program is used to winning games.” “ The kids are excited to get back to that feeling of winning. The administration and community is in full support to make that happen and the kids are putting in the work for us to be successful in the near future.”
The program will be in position right away to score a lot of points with a lot of skill talent and experience back for the 2026 season.
The Offense will be led by Quarterback Preston Tilley 6'1" 190 pounds, senior, who can make all the throws. There's also the return of starting Running Back JP Thibodeaux 5'10" 185 pounds, who ran for over 1,000 yards in 2025 and is a leader, 4-year starter in the program.
In the passing game, you have WR/TE Dennison Morgan 6'1" 185 pounds back looking to have a big year and a few players at skill spots looking to have great years also, like WR/DB Michael French 5'10" 155 pounds, WR/DB Carter Hogg 5'7" 145 pounds, and WR/DB Brady Childress 5'10" 150 pounds.
Key Linemen and Linebackers to watch in the program are new starter OL/DL Knox Wilson 6'1" 285 pounds, OL/DL Lavarion Fisher 5'10" 270 pounds, LB/OL Hudson Methvin 5'10" 180 pounds, big-time leader, and DE/DT Connor Kay, a returning starter with great feet off the edge, 6'3" 220-pound senior.
