Class 2026 Athlete Cole Yopp St.Mary’s High School

I love to see kids who play multiple sports in High School. Today, we will talk about a kid, Cole Yopp, from St. Mary’s High School in Natchitoches, Louisiana, who does just that. I had a chance to see the St. Mary’s/Menard game this year and was impressed with Cole as a Wide Receiver and Defensive Back for his team, and he is the place holder for extra points for the Kicker.

Cole stands 6-3 in Height and weighs 185 pounds. I think Cole, if given an opportunity in football for college, could develop into a really good Wide Receiver and grow into a frame of 6-3, 200 pounds plus in another 2 years.

Cole is also a member of the varsity Basketball team as well as the Golf Team for St. Mary’s High School. He plays Small Forward in Basketball and captain of the Golf team. This past season was an Honorable mention All District in Basketball. Golf has won 1 tournament and competed in the State Golf tournament in his Soph year.

Cole will have a chance to sign a college scholarship in Golf or Football in the end. Cole has a GPA of 3.2 and an ACT score of 20.

Quotes from Cole Yopp below

I love playing football at St. Mary’s, even though we are only a Class 1A program; the atmosphere is just different. The Tiger fans really know how to pack the stands and support us. Growing up watching my family play at St. Mary’s, then getting to play 2 years with my cousin Adam Parker it meant the world to me. My cousin Adam Parker played at St. Mary’s and then went on to Quarterback at Southern Arkansas University, where he still attends and plays football.

I wasn’t able to go to many camps this year over the Summer with the busy schedule we had, although I am pushing my name out there heavily in football and Golf. Constantly emailing and texting college coaches.

My favorite college growing up has always been Tennessee. Growing up listening to country music and watching the Volunteers run through the big T while listening to the band play Rocky Top always made me want to move to Tennessee. Living in Knoxville and being that close to Nashville would be a dream come true. Recently, my focus has been shifted to Southern  Arkansas University, where I want to play college Golf. I attended a game last year to watch my cousin Adam Parker, and I loved the atmosphere. It felt like a big-time Power 5 game at a D2 school. Being in Magnolia, Arkansas, on a game day wasn’t like anything I’ve ever seen before said Cole Yopp.”
