Charlie Ward

Class 2026 Recruit Walker High School Offensive Lineman Charlie Ward.

There is an Offensive Line recruit still not committed who is 6-6, 280 pounds named Charlie Ward at Walker High School. This is a kid who I think will get better in college and can play either Offensive Tackle or Offensive Guard at the next level, depending on the program's needs, like all colleges. This is a very lean prospect with the ability to be 315 pounds easily in college for his 6-6 frame in height. Charlie’s Uncle Attended LSU and was an offensive lineman for the football team.

Quotes from Charlie Below.

During the recruiting process, I have made some great connections and relationships with people that I never thought I would meet. I have learned the importance of communication and how to carry yourself is everything to coaches. I have also learned how to handle adversity maturely, and that rejection is part of the process in finding the right fit for me in college.

I started playing football when I was 7 years old. I was born in Slidell, Louisiana, but my mother is from the state of Mississippi, and my dad is from Alabama. I grew up in Demopolis, Alabama, until I moved to Walker in 2018.

At Walker High School, I have had two Offensive Line coaches. From my Freshman year to Junior Year, Jake Zbydniewski and I can not say enough good things about him, as I consider him to be one of the most influential people in mylifee and he has helped me overcome countless obstacles. This year, coach Curtis Fresina has taken over as the head Offensive Line coach, and again, he is one of the greatest coaches I have ever had. Coach Fresina never fails to make us laugh and makes it very easy to play hard for him said Charlie Ward.”

Players I follow that play Offensive Line in the NFL are Lane Johnson from the Eagles and Dion Dawkins from the Bills. I am always learning from guys like these players, who I think are the most technically sound tackles in the NFL currently.

Once I attend college, I plan to major in Kinesiology.
