Jy'Marion Island is a returning RB for the Union Parish Farmers as they come off of a runner-up title in the Division III 2022 playoffs where he put up 1,003 yards.

Island had big shoes to fill with the departure of Trey Holly, who signed with LSU. Island has done a great job filling those shoes. He's currently the 2nd leading rusher in the state with 1,389 yards in the 2023 season so far.

Island states his reason for playing football is, "My passion for it, since I was 7 I've been in love with the game."

Island plans to go to either mechanical engineering or business management, and to continue playing football at the next level. He desires to play football at the professional level.
