Recruiting Spotlight: Nolan Still, Glenbrook High School, Minden, Louisiana
Do-it-all lineman Nolan Still of Glenbrook High School is a physically imposing prospect in Louisiana’s Class of 2027. Standing at 6’2’’ and 290 pounds, Still is a dominant force in the trenches, playing both left guard on offense and defensive end on defense.
Still put together an impressive junior season, recording three solo tackles, 16 assisted tackles, four tackles for loss, and one sack. Still’s play on the field earned him 1st team all-district honors, and he was also voted as his team’s MVP. He has also been starting on varsity since his freshman year.
According to Lee Brecheen, Still has a hobby that is very different from what most high school athletes do when they aren't playing sports.
“He is a sleeper lineman, tough kid, and a leader. He also already has his pilot license to fly airplanes,” Brecheen said.

Still started flying planes when he was 15, and he earned his pilot’s license just two years later at age 17. Flying runs in his family, as both his father and brother are pilots.
Still spoke about the camaraderie he has received from playing football at Glenbrook High School.
“I’ve been playing with the same teammates for the past 10 years, and I’ve been playing football since the second grade,” said Still.
In the classroom, Still maintains a 3.7 GPA, and he scored a 23 on the ACT. Still doesn’t have any offers currently, but he plans to attend Louisiana Tech to pursue his academic career, where he plans to major in agribusiness.
