Recruiting Spotlight: Christopher Bevolo, TE/DE, St. Paul’s High School, Covington, Louisiana

TE/DE Christopher Bevolo of St. Paul’s High School is a versatile prospect in Louisiana’s Class of 2027. Standing at 6’2’’ and weighing 215 pounds, Bevolo will be used on the offensive and defensive sides of the ball.

‍

Bevolo put together an impressive junior season, recording seven receptions for 117 yards, and he caught two touchdowns as well. Bevolo is returning for his senior season to make an impact both as a tight end and a defensive end.

‍

According to Lee Brecheen, Bevolo is a late bloomer who is looking to have a big senior year.

‍

“He’s changed his body for senior year. He’s bigger and stronger. His main position is defensive end, but he will also play some tight end. Once he gets to college, this kid could be 6’3’’ and 240 pounds of muscle. He’s got good feet with a great future ahead of him,” said Brecheen.

‍

In the classroom, Bevolo maintains a 3.4 GPA, showing a strong commitment to his academics as well as his athletics.

‍

Bevolo spoke on what it means to play football for St. Paul’s and his coach.

‍

“Playing for Coach Gast is awesome. He has brought a different type of energy to the team and is allowing me to play both sides of the ball,” said Bevolo.
