Team Outlook: We like this team. We don't have as many skill guys as in 2024, but we are a lot bigger and deeper at more positions in 2025. We have a few big young linemen coming up, which is also good for our program, too said Head Coach Rodney Guin.”
Tidbits: Calvary Baptist Football will be one of those teams not to sleep on early because they have a lot of young talent that will get experience early on in 2025. This will be a team that gets better as the season goes along, and they will have a chance to compete again for a state title in the end in 2025. Head Coach Rodney Guin was the Head Coach for several years at Haughton High School before coaching at Calvary Baptist High School. The Offense does have a QB battle among two players, one being Hudson Price lettered in 2024, and also QB Matthew Brinkman. Both of these kids are talented and would not be surprised both find a way to get on the field a lot somewhere in 2025.
Let's talk about the Defense first because there’s more experience back on Defense. This unit will carry the young Offense early on in the season. You have special leaders back on Defense like DE/LB David E. The Offense will build around returning starters OL Collin Wesson 6-1 260 SR, OC/DE Cooper Grant Thomas 6-2 230, OL Hunter Bradford Davis 6-3 285, All District in 2024, a 3-year starter leader, and RB Pierce Roan Carey, who played a lot in 2024 with 4.55 speed. New players to look for on Offense are RB Zyran Miles, RB Delancey Street, TE/WR J.K Morgan, OL JJ Kilpatrick 6-0 240 SR, OL Drake Moore 6-3 260, TE Brady Martinez, OL Ryan Rogers 6-4 240, and some other young players will battle for spots. 2 way starters WR/DB Tre McDaniel, and WR/DB Braylun Huglon will be big playmakers both sides of the ball for the program again in 2025.
Special Teams to start off in 2025 will be strong at Punter & Kicker with Tsehaye Ryan Knight back to handle both . Knight has a very strong leg and will also play some CB for the Defense.

The program lost a senior class of many experienced 3-year starters to replace for the 2025 season. The Offense will have a new leader and QB in Daltin Albritton, who played a lot last year as a Free Safety on Defense. Albritton can run, and he’s someone the team trusts running the Offense in his 1st year as a QB for the program.

Tidbits: The Giants program is trying to build up the program without having a feeder Middle School is tough to do, but Head Coach Bradford and his staff are working hard this Spring to get numbers up and develop these kids for football and life after football. They do a great job getting the most out of what they have. The two most talented players i saw play in person from Green Oaks would be one LB Roovelroe Swan(LSU) ran a legit 4.5 forty at 6-3 215 incredible player injury ended his career going into his Red/Shirt Freshman year at LSU, and CB/WR/KR/PR Tre’Davious White one of the greatest Athlete’s i’ve seen play high school in Louisiana. White was a CB for LSU and is now in the NFL.
