The program returns third-year starting QB Kenyon Smith (5-9, 165. Most of the skill players will start on both sides of the football and some of them are WR/FS Devin Myles (6-2, 165), TE Ge’ryl Barnes (6-1, 200), WR/FS Donald Morrison (5-11, 160, Sr.) who is a four-sport athlete for the school, RB Shammirrius Wright (5-9, 160) who has 4.45 speed, RB/LB Dashaun Moss (5-11, 170), LB Ahmad Fletcher (6-0, 190, Sr.) returns after missing the 2022 season and WR/MLB Jermaine Cleveland (6-1, 170, Sr.) who is a sleeper in 2023.

These key linemen will be counted on for a big year OT Zion Hogan (6-3, 270), DE/OLB Jason Johnson (6-2, 180), and DT/OL Justin Dykes (5-11, 240, Sr.).
