Jeanerette Tigers
Head Coach:Clifford Paul(7th year)
2024 Record:8-3
2024 Playoffs: Quarter-Finals lost to General Trass HS
2023 Record:10-3.
Key players Graduated:2024 Hon Mention All State RB/SS Andre Sonnier, CB/WR Zyre Colar,2024 Hon Mention All State FS/WR Dominick Lewis,2024 Hon Mention All State LB Joa’Quinn Charles, QB/SS Zyon Colar, WR/CB Levi Boykin, OL/DL Shamar Loston
Team Outlook: New QB for the 1st time in 4 years. Going into the Summer, grinding continues, and the future is bright. We have to move forward and not get caught up in how good we were last year’s success. We dream to play on the Carpet of the Superdome said Head Coach Clifford Paul.”
Tidbits: It’s incredible what Head Coach Clifford Paul has built just in the last 3 years. The school, Jeanerette High School, before the coach had never been to a playoff game and had never had a home playoff game. The last 3 years(2022,2023,2024), Jeanerette HS football has been to the playoffs 3 times in a row and has hosted a playoff game.
The program returns some special players in 2025. Several players who made All District and All State return players like 4 year starter TE/HB/DE/OLB Javonte Williams 6-2 235 All District, MVP of the District on Defense 16 Sacks in 2024,3 year starter RB/MLB Desean Tolbert 5-9 190 SR All District in 2024, WR/CB Morris Walter 6-2 185 All District in 2024,3 year starter OL/DL Gregory Green 6-2 280 Hon Mention All State & All District in 2024 WR/CB Devone Duhon 5-11 170 All District RB in 2024, LB/RB Joa’quinn Charles 5-11 185 All District in 2024 with over 100 tackles and 4 interceptions to lead the team, and RB/CB All District Devine Duhon 5-11 180 ran for 1,300 yards with 25 touchdowns in 2024.
More key players to keep a eye on are 3 year starter Safety/WR Jaidon Ward 5-11 175,3 year starter WR/FS Kobe Gage 5-9 170,2nd year starter Athlete/CB Nyris Jackson 5-11 175 2nd year starter,2nd year starter DT/OC Dylan Walters 6-2 235,2nd year starter FB/LB/TE Braylon Lewis 5-11 195, QB/RB/LB Aaron Tillman 6-1 180, DE Raymond Charles Jack 6-2 215, OL Mitchell Colbert 5-11 265, OL/DT Blair Lewis 6-6 285, and OL/DL Blaylynn Gilbert 6-2 245 2nd year starter.
The biggest question is who will be the new QB in 2025. All District WR Morris Walters is battling RB/LB Aaron Tillman for the starting job. If Aaron wins the job, Morris will still be a big-time playmaker at WR/DB. If Walters wins the job, Aaron will still be a star at RB/LB, so either way, both these kids will start both sides of the football to help the program win in the end.
Special Teams, both Kicker & Punter, will be Desean Tolbert returning for his 2nd year as the starter for both spots.
Central Catholic Eagles
Head Coach:C.L Grogan(5th year)

We will have another tough Schedule again in 2025 against some bigger non-district teams, Bunkie HS, H.L Bourgeois HS, and Central Lafourche HS, said Head Coach C.L. Grogan.”
Tidbits: Head Coach C.L. Grogan, back in the day, was an All-District Athlete at Patterson High School and a starter as a Defensive Back at Northwestern State University. The three most talented players I ever saw play at Central Catholic High School in football were DB Jermaine Jones(Northwestern State U/ Southland Conference Defensive Player of the year in 1998/NFL), RB Stefano Guarisco(Nicholls State), and TE/LB Curtis Randall(Louisiana Tech). Central Catholic High School has played in two State Title Games, both runner-ups in its history, with Football,1 State Championship in 1973, in Baseball, 1 in Wrestling, and in 2014, the Girls' Basketball team won a State Title.

The Offense returns Quarterback Spencer Fuhrer, who started 5 games in 2024, got a lot of experience, and did a great job. Fuhrer 5-11 175 will also play some Safety for the team. Most starters will start both sides of the football in 2025 lead by WR/RB/CB Tre Edmond 5-7 160, OG/MLB Logan Breaux 5-10 195 SR, OL/LB Luke Boudreaux 5-10 190 2nd year starter, WR/RB/CB Ethan Clements 5-8 155 2nd year starter had a good year in 2024, OL/DL Jude Walker 6-2 210 2nd year starter, OT/TE/OLB Riley Rhineholt 6-1 170 2nd year starter, OL/DL Ty Brasseaux 6-4 225 new starter, WR/DB Trey Rochel 5-6 155 new starter, OL/DL Brent Pharris 6-3 250 new starter, and WR/CB Andrew Burgress 5-10 155 will get reps both sides of the line of scrimmage.
