Spotlight Recruit: Brady Guillot: West Monroe High School

Class of 2027, Brady Guillot, West Monroe High School, West Monroe, LA

Brady Guillot of West Monroe High School during his junior year and he might be the most well-rounded quarterback in the state of Louisiana for the 2027 class. The 6 '0, 187-pound athlete plays the position with great confidence, great toughness, and a clear understanding that shows a very good understanding of the game.

West Monroe football is a big deal, and we saw that firsthand every Friday night at Rebel Stadium. Guillot made a big difference in the Rebels' many victories on home field against Catholic, Ouachita, and ASH. He made some huge plays on the field and had great decision-making when it counted.

Offensively, Guillot was quite dominant. He completed 120 of 186 attempts for 1,900 yards and 18 touchdowns, good for a QBR of 110.51. Guillot was also capable as a runner, where he carried the ball 67 times for 365 yards and three scores. A dual-threat type of quarterback, Guillot can extend plays with his feet as well as throw the ball from several different angles.

One thing that probably separates Guillot from your average quarterback is what he does off the field. The junior has a 4.6 GPA and scored a 26 on the ACT. He says he’s been in contact with a handful of Division I schools, including Louisiana Tech and Army. Some other schools he’s been in contact with include Harvard, Yale, and Cornell. He hasn’t given much consideration to what he’ll study yet.

Guillot is a multi-sport star. On the baseball field, he pitches. As a sophomore, he made five starts and was 2–0 with a 3.56 ERA. He was on the 2024 state champion team as a freshman. That competitive spirit carries over into Friday nights as well.

Football runs deep in the Guillot family. His father was a pitcher for Louisiana Tech  and was an all-state defensive end at West Monroe on the 2000 state championship team. Multiple uncles and grandfathers also played collegiate athletics, and that background shows in the way Brady approaches preparation and leadership.

West Monroe head coach DeMichael Dizer is building a strong culture, and Guillot has become a key piece of setting that standard moving forward. Brady Guillot's name is in the recruiting process, but he’s a name college coaches should keep an eye on.
