Bert Hale is 6-3, 315 pound offensive guard/defensive tackle senior at Oak Grove High School in Oak Grove, LA. He has received offers from Ole Miss, Lamar, Southern Miss, Louisiana-Monroe, Northwestern, Troy, Nicholls State, but decided to commit to Louisiana Tech. Hale is ranked 93 in the state of Louisiana.

Kenean Caldwell is a defensive tech senior at Oak Grove High School as well. He has received offers from Oregon, Colorado, University of Louisiana-Lafayette, and Louisiana- Monroe, but he has decided to commit to Kansas University. Caldwell is ranked 36 in the state of Louisiana. Both of these players are 300+ pounds and over six feet tall. In a recent interview, Caldwell mentions how coaches love his hands, flexibility, and explosiveness. Caldwell expresses himself as a team player and does not let the pressure interfere with his performance.

Both of these players are back from an Oak Grove team that lost in the Class 1A state championship last year to Kentwood High School. Now, with another year, the Tigers are looking to go over the hump and capture the state championship this year with a little help of their two biggest recruits both literally and figuratively.
