Recruiting Spotlight: Rix Robin, Delcambre High School, Delcambre, LA

Multi-sport athlete Rix Robin of Delcambre High School is a versatile playmaker who contributes across multiple sports while continuing to develop as a football prospect. Standing 5’11” and weighing 165 pounds, Robin plays both quarterback and running back, bringing athleticism and leadership to his team.

On the football field, Robin produced in a utility role, finishing with 136 passing yards and two touchdowns while adding 256 rushing yards and two more scores on the ground. His ability to contribute in multiple ways earned him Second Team All-District honors as a utility player.

According to evaluations, Robin is viewed as “the leader of the program,” a reflection of his work ethic, competitiveness, and impact on his team both on and off the field.

Robin’s athletic ability extends well beyond football. On the baseball field, he put together an outstanding season, hitting .408 with 42 hits while earning First Team All-District honors as an outfielder and being named to the All-Metro Team. In track and field, he is a regional qualifier in the pole vault, further showcasing his versatility and athleticism.

In the classroom, Robin maintains a 3.5 GPA and has scored a 20 on the ACT while balancing a demanding multi-sport schedule. He plans to major in business management at the next level.

“I take a lot of pride in playing sports for Delcambre, and playing for Coach Brodie is always a challenge to get better,” Robin said.

Robin currently does not hold any college offers but continues to build his profile through his performance and leadership.

Athletics run in the family as well. His mother ran track at Delcambre High School and was a 6x state champ in the 2 mile, which that record still holds today.His father was a multi-sport athlete at Port Barre High School, competing in football, track, and baseball. He later went on to play college football at McNeese State University as a fullback for three years.

With his leadership, versatility, and success across multiple sports, Rix Robin is a well-rounded athlete who could draw attention as he continues to develop and compete at a high level.
