The Sterlington Panthers are off to an incredible start for the season with a record of 7-1. This is in no small part thanks to the work of one of the best offensive linemen in the state, Mitch Hodnett. His ability to play football is not to be underestimated.
“The current season is going by fast.” Hodnett stated, “After a shaky start in our first game we came out to prove who we actually are.”
Hodnett is one of the top recruiting prospects in the state with him having already received 11 total offers. Some of these offers include TCU, Houston, Tulane, Oklahoma State, and LA Tech.
“I plan to play at the next level for TCU.” Hodnett stated, “I’m playing at the next level because I want to gain knowledge not just from football for the next few years, but for the rest of my life.”
Hodnett isn’t just a football player, He’s also a great track & field athlete. He’s been to state for shot put 3 years in a row.
