Holy Cross High School senior LB Tyler Grubbs is a name that you’ll want to remember  Grubbs has been a starter on the varsity team all four years and his hard work has paid off as he is committed to play at Louisiana Tech. Grubbs says his dad and uncle are his influences when it comes to playing football.

“It was kind of in my blood to play,” Grubbs said.

Grubbs’ hardest challenge throughout his varsity career was his freshman year and trying to learn the whole defense in a short amount of time. To continue improving his skills, he mentions that he tries to better himself.

“I try to better myself by listening to any coaching points people may have and work on my physical and speed strength,” Grubbs said. “I try and lead people around by showing them the right way and be a great example”.

Here are a few words Grubbs has about his upcoming collegiate level experience.

“At Louisiana Tech, I’m looking forward to getting to build a great relationship with the coaches and players,” Grubbs said. “Showing them why they recruited me and giving everything I got to the program. “
