LAFM’s Week 11 Recruiting Scoop and Tidbits

The playoffs are finally here and the recruiting has heated up as well. Louisiana Football Magazine’s own Jace LeJeune and Cameron Cerniglia were able to catch up with a couple of teams this week in order to find out what is going on in recruiting with their perspective teams after the first round of the LHSAA prep playoffs.

East Ascension High School: (Jace LeJeune)

East Ascension senior WR Markquell Stewart (Property of LAFM)

East Ascension DE Deshon Hall (6-3, 250) had a dominating night in the team’s playoff win against East St. John. He is still committed to the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs.

DT Stanford Knockum (5-10, 315) has received an offer from Louisiana College.

QB Jason Wakefield (5-11, 180) also has an offer from Louisiana College.

WR Markquell Stewart (6-0, 190) is committed to play for the McNeese State Cowboys.

OG Cooper Ducote (6-0, 275) has received offers from Millsaps College and Culver-Stockton College.

Franklin Parish High School senior QB LT Major has received an offer from Grambling State University.
