LAFM TV 12th Season! Episode 13!
by Jace LeJeune
Hey everyone! We have a great show lined up for you before the Holidays. It is LAFM TV Championship Edition as we have state championship winning coaches and players in studio as well as calling in. In the studio, we have the two head coaches that led both their teams to the state championship title in the Baton Rouge area at the 5A level with Zachary Head Coach David Brewerton, who led the Broncos to the Class 5A state championship, and Catholic High Head Coach Gabriel Fertitta, who led the Bears to the Division I state championship. For both programs, this is the second state championship victory in three seasons. They will talk about their state championship runs and we will have highlights from both games. Also, in the studio, we will have two of University Lab’s top junior players in quarterback John Gordon McKernan and running back Michael Hollins. Both players will talk about this season and winning the Division II state championship. Calling in, we will have a state championship winning quarterback in Catholic New Iberia senior Diallo Landry, who will be talking about winning the Division III state championship, and West Feliciana Head Coach Robb Odom, who will be talking about leading the team to their first Class 3A state championship victory in program history. Also, we will have two special versions of “Tell It Like It Is”. In the segment, both Coach Brewerton and John Gordon McKernon will draw up some of their favorite plays that they like to run. Finally, your host Lee Brecheen caught up with Parkway senior WR Terrace Marshall Jr. as well as Evangel Christian’s three star defensive players in DT Davin Cotton, LB Micah Baskerville, and CB Ar’Darius Washington right before the first signing period to see what will be their top schools in the end. This should be a great show so make sure you tune in to LAFM TV!
