Class of 2022 Recruit Spotlight: Fontainebleau High School WR Kobe Barnes
by Cedric Bloxson Jr.
Kobe Barnes is a 6’3, 205 pound wide receiver from Fontainebleau High School. Kobe has amazing speed shown by his 40 time of 4.5/40 seconds. He is also an incredible route runner, and his height of 6’3 makes him a great deep ball threat. Like many other high schools in Louisiana, Fontainebleau was affected by Hurricane Ida at the start of the season. It was a major setback, but due to the great leadership of Kobe and some of his fellow upperclassmen, the Bulldogs were able to shake back from the hurricane and get back on the field. Kobe says the thing he is most looking forward to playing at the next level is the change of atmosphere and new opportunity.
