Class of 2022 Recruit Spotlight: Alexandria High School WR Daylon Hammond

Daylon Hammond plays wide receiver for Alexandria High School. Hammond measures in at 6’0, 180 pounds and runs a 4.53/40-yard dash. He squats 405 pounds and this power is seen with his 33-inch vertical jump. He has 50 catches for 711 yards and bringing in 9 TDs for the season. Daylon’s top three colleges are Oregon, LSU, and Southern.
Daylon loves football because of the lessons it teaches off the field, determination, and overcoming adversity when things don’t go your way. When asked if he feels there’s any specific field he needs to improve on, his response was simply to paraphrase. There’s room to improve on every aspect, and he is always willing to put in the work to improve. Outside of football, Daylon enjoys playing PS4, shopping, and lifting weights to always be ahead of the game.
