New Glen Oaks head coach Anthony Jones was a big-time hire. Coach Jones is a graduate of Glen Oaks High School (Class of 2001) and played for the great Nolan Gill at the time. If anyone can build Glen Oaks High School into a playoff contender every year, it’s this young coach. He was a big part of what Madison Prep did to be successful as he was a part of their staff for over 10 years and he knows how to win and build a program. The offense will be a Spread and Wing-T Slot. The defense will run a 3-4 and a 4-2-5 at times. 

The Panthers will start most of their players on both sides of the football. The leaders back to in 2023 are three-year starting C/DT Derrick Washington (5-9, 240), three-year starting senior WR/CB Christopher Jackson (6-1, 173, 4.5 speed), OLB/RB Devontay Russell (6-2, 180, 4.5 speed) who is a big-time talent, RB/WR Na’Ryan Delone (5-8, 165, 4.4 speed) who is a sleeper, QB Carlton Hargrove (5-10, 165) who is a new starter, OT/DT Braylen Jenkins (6-4, 275) great feet, senior CB/ATH Javin Lee (5-8, 168, 4.5 speed) who is a new starter, senior CB/S Arien Johnson (6-0, 170) who is a big-time hitter with 4.5 speed, new starter OL/DL Jikari Helms (6-2, 270) who is a new starter and LB/TE Jeremiah Patillo (6-1, 240) who is a late bloomer with big-time upside as I think he has a chance to play on College Football Saturdays.
