I think the school’s hiring of new head coach Shane Mulhern is a slam dunk hire. Mulhern has tons of football knowledge and energy to have the program in a good spot soon. I interviewed Coach Mulhern this summer and I was impressed. Coach Mulhern was recently the defensive coordinator for St. Stanislaus High School in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. Coach Mulhern is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
“We are in a rebuilding year with a new culture and staff,” Coach Mulhern said. “We have a few seasoned Athletes that have an opportunity to lay a great foundation for the program for the first year under a new regime.”

The offense will have a chance to be good with some returning experience, young players and a new face to the program. It all starts at QB and the new starter is Justin Domiano (5-9, 160, Sr.). Domiano is a really good athlete as he is currently committed to Southeastern’s baseball program. He will have some really good players around him at the skill spots. The new face of the program is Northshore High School transfer RB/LB/S Kohen Rowbatham (6-1, 205). Rowbotham was a three-year starter for Northshore and made the All-DIstrict team twice and has been a starter since his freshman year. The Falcons also have RB/LB Kendrell Perry (6-1, 205) who is a college prospect, RB Clifton “Cricket” Bonds (5-9, 170, 4.5 speed), WR Cayden Cuti (5-9, 165, Sr.) has good hands, new starter TE Braden Bovie (5-10, 185, Sr.) and Athlete/RB/WR Cace Reed (5-8, 155, 4.5 speed) who is a big-time playmaker and a returning starter.

The key linemen to build around a young position group overall will be senior OL/DL Lincoln Crouch, OL/DL Ryan Jackson (5-7, 210) who is a big-time leader, new starter OL Brody Crouch, OL/DL Juan Triste, OL/DL Brady Mendez and center Mason Craft (5-8, 240) tough kid on the offensive line only. On the defense, you will see a few of the same starters from offense plus talented LB/DE De’Shad Sheridan (6-1, 220), LB Brock Beaudean (5-10, 165), safety Jermaine Spencer (6-0, 170, Sr.), and talented young player DB Kaiden Dennis (6-0, 160). On
special teams, you have a new starter who already is doing a great job for the program in kicker Jonathan Bickford (6-1, 160, Sr.). The starting punter is all-everything athlete Cace Reed who has a good leg as well.
