2022 Playoffs: Lost to Northlake Christian 40-7 in 1st Round of Division III (Select) Playoffs

“I am impressed with the kids and players we have here as they are detail-oriented, don’t complain and work hard,” said Houma Christian head coach Jamar Celestine.

Houma Christian has started off the season with wins over Highland Baptist (42-7) and Ascension Christian (42-17) and have lost against Civenant Chrstian in a nailbiting 27-20 nailbiter and RIverside Acacdemy (40-7)

The Warriors are led by four-year starter QB Brady Marcel (5-10, 185) who has a high IQ of the game and has a ton of experience on the field. The rest of the skill spots are led by RB/LB Micah Callais (6-0, 205, Sr.), third-year starter RB/SS Joseph Landry (5-9, 178, Sr.) who had over 1,000 yards rushing on offense and four interceptions on defense in 2022. There are three talented pass catchers in the program with WR Brody Liner (6-0, 160) who is a big-time play ability, WR Bryce Hebert (5-8, 165, Sr.) who has a speed playmaker and two-way starter TE/MLB Sam Martinez who is a big-time player with size (6-1, 265). Key linemen in the program are OL/DL Mathieu Nguyen (5-11, 245, Sr.), OC/DE Cade Robichaux (6-1, 185, Sr.), OL/DL Cameron Frazier (6-2, 280) and OL/DL leader Ethan Prejean (6-4, 310, Sr.) who brings high effort game.

On special teams, you have kicker Eli Delgado (6-3, 170, Sr.) will look to have a great year in 2023.
