Bolton RB/WR Darrian Nelson

First-year Bolton High School Head coach Clint Dean is a Woodville, Texas native and played football at Woodville High School (Class of 2003) and Louisiana College (now Louisiana Christian) as a OL/TE. Coach Dean was the co-defensive coordinator at Northwood (Lena) from 2021 to 2022. The offense will run a balanced Air Raid setup with counter and outside zone. On defense, they will run a 4-1-6 or 4-3 Hybrid with two-high safeties. They will practice to stop the run in a district mostly of teams who run the ball.

Bolton OL/DL Devontey Williams

I was hired in June of this year and I am excited to be the head coach of Bolton High School,”  Coach Dean said. “We have good athletes here and talent. We have some strong kids in the weight room. I am also excited that Bolton was state champions two years ago with the powerlifting team here at the school.”

Key players that have been in the program to lead a few new players are returning starter OL/DL Devontey Williams (5-8, 225, Squats 470 and benches 310), two-year starter RB/OLB Nathaniel Francis (5-10, 200, 4.55 speed), RB/WR Darrian Nelson (5-9, 175, Sr.) plays all over for the team (4.5 speed, QB/K Connor McClain (5-8, 145) who has a really good arm, OL/DL Maurice Davis (6-3, 290) who is a really good player, OL/DL Eric Boyd (6-4, 240), new starter RB/SS Khris Paul (5-6, 145) and WR/DB Jeremy Dorsey another really good Athlete new starter for the program.
