August 26, 2010 - Ouachita High School finished with an 8-4 record last season. The Lions hope to continue their winning ways next season by building upon some the talented group of seniors.
One of these leaders is strong safety Terron Bell.Bell stands at 5’ 11” and 190 pounds, and helped in leading Ouachita High’s stout defense last season.
The senior also holds his own in the weight room, squatting 490 pounds and cleaning 320.
The athlete also has blazing speed, running a 4.4 forty. Bell takes his talents off the football field as well, playing shooting guard on the basketball team and running track for OHS.
Bell aided the basketball team in their successful 28-7 season last year.
Where the speedster may play college next season, no one knows … not even Bell.
“I have a few offers, but I’m still open and available,” Bell said.
After a winning record last year, Bell said he is ready to get back on the football field and begin the season. He also said each team stands out equally among his opponents.
“I’m just ready for competition,” Bell said. “It doesn’t really matter what team.”
Bell, a New Orleans native and avid Saints fan, said the Big Easy is his favorite city to visit and that he was thrilled to see the Saints take home their first Super Bowl.
