We made it to the semi-finals this year, so that was good. Practices were intense too, and everything was quick and very fast-paced. As a senior, my coaches depended on me to teach the younger guys football skills. They expected me to put a lot more into it this year, which I was happy to do.

LAFM: Who did you look forward to playing this year and why?

I was really looking forward to playing St. James High School, but we couldn’t play them because Hurricane Isaac hit. They are always our first game of the season.

LAFM: Current height and weight?

I am 6’3 and 245.

This season was more of a rebuilding year than anything. We lost a lot of talent from the previous year, and we didn’t have a very good relationship with each other at the beginning of the season.

LAFM: What was your best game this season, and why?

I had pretty solid games all season, but my best all around game was probably against Catholic High in the play-offs.

Stat wise I had the best season of my life. I had a lot of sacks, 13, and tackles, 94 with 40 as a loss. However, even with my success on the field, my team went 4-5.

LAFM: Who did you looking forward to playing this year and why?

Brother Martin because they had linemen going to Alabama and LSU. I like to set myself up against great competition so I can test myself and get better.

LAFM: Current height and weight?

I am 6’2” and  235lbs

My season went very well this year. It was kind of hard because we didn’t win too many games, but we fought hard to the end of every game. Practices were good too because we had a very high morale every time.

LAFM: Who did you look forward to playing this year and why?

Carroll High School because they are our biggest rivalry. We won that game, which was great.

LAFM: Current height and weight?

5’11 and 195
