Video Recruit Spotlight: ATH Michael Henry, Episcopal High School, Class of 2012

February 8, 2012 - There’s one kid in Louisiana who doesn’t have a DI offer or even a IAA offer by now, and I can’t understand why.   It’s Michael Henry from Episcopal High School in Baton Rouge.  In every game I filmed and saw him in he had a game changing tackle or run that helped his team to many wins in his four years of starting as a Linebacker and Running Back.  This kid is a legit 6-1 in height, weighs 225 pounds, is a big time hitter, and reads and reacts with the best of them.  He gives high effort and would make a perfect Outside Linebacker or an athletic Fullback for a DI or IAA school.  He was also MVP of the Red Stick Bowl on defense this past month as a Linebacker.  He doesn’t hand time fast, but he looks fast on a football field, and he looks 4.6 in the forty as a football player.  If you’re looking for football players that can play the game give this kid a call because whoever gets him will get a good one.

UPDATE: Michael Henry signed with Nicholls State University.
