January 17, 2012 - One of the toughest and best hitting players that I saw in 2010 was Carl Carney, who at 6-0, 245 pounds hit like a Mack truck and played full throttle the entire game. It’s not every day that you see a 245 pound Linebacker in High School play like this kid sideline to sideline. In 2011 he played more DE at 265 pounds (up from 245 in 2010), and he missed some games. I would love to see him get back to his playing weight of 245 for Middle Linebacker.
