April 7, 2010 - Head coach Kenny Guillot of Parkview Baptist is a great high school coach, and you can see why his teams every year battle you, out strength you, run over you, and play really hard for him, because of the way he runs his program. If you need to see coach Guillot during school the best time to get him is early in the morning, right before 7:00 am, where he has his team pumping iron in the weight room.
Kenny Guillot has his team ready before school in the morning like a college program, which takes dedication from the coaches and players at the school. Kenny coached college football for a long time in Louisiana, and it shows in the way he prepares these young men every day for the season.

I was able to show up about ten minutes to seven in the AM to take part in what im telling you about first hand. Parkview Baptist will field another State Championship type team in 2010, similar to the team in 2009 that was runner up to Notre Dame of Crowley. I had a chance to meet several players, and from what I saw this team will be every bit as good as the 2009 team. The team does start off with a new QB, but that’s not something of a big deal to the staff because this school usually replaces a QB either every year or other year in the system. The offensive line will be big, but not many DI looking players, but for high school standard big and strong kids. I think this will be a break out year for WR Tucker Hitt (6-3, 200,) who is the younger brother of Lyle Hitt (LSU), and Mason Hitt (LA TECH). Athlete Drew Dileo will be hard to replace, but I think Brooks Godberry, will be very similar in the offense. Godberry can run in the low 4.5 forty range. There is also a young FB by the name of Brandon Johnson (210 pounds) who will bring it up the middle and outside like a RB.
I would like to thank Head Coach Kenny Guillot, Jay Mayet, and David Simoneaux, for helping me while I was there with the kids around weightlifting hour. These guys do a great job of getting the most out of their kids. They have a great system, and will always have a great team every year because of that.
