LAFM: For starters, what’s your current height, weight, and forty time?
MD: My current weight is 185, my height is 6’0", and my forty is a 4.51.
LAFM: Are you originally from Louisiana?
MD: Yes I am.
LAFM: Which teams did you root for growing up?
MD: The New Orleans Saints, LSU Tigers, Tulane and UL.
LAFM: When did you first start playing football?
MD: When I was five years old.
LAFM: Has it always been a big part of your family? Have you had any family members who have played football in the past?
MD: My grandpa played football but no, not really.
LAFM: Do you play any other sports?
MD: Yes, I play basketball and run track.
LAFM: Are you focusing on football or do you want to go to a college where you can play multiple sports?
MD: Right now I’m focusing on football.
LAFM: Do you play any other positions besides cornerback?
MD: Yes, I play safety.
LAFM: Is there anyone in college or the Pros that you look up to or try to model your game after?
MD: Eric Reid and Ed Reed.
LAFM: What do you think is your biggest strength as a player?
MD: My biggest strength is reading the field.
LAFM: What part of your game are you trying to improve upon most?
MD: Breaking down for tackles.
LAFM: Have you been to any camps at this point? If so, which ones?
MD: I’ve been to the ULL camp and Mississippi State.
LAFM: Have you heard from any coaches or received any offers?
MD: Yes, from UL, Southern Illinois, Arkansas State, Alabama State, Tulane and McNeese.
LAFM: Which schools stick out right now at the top of your list?
MD: UL, Tulane, and ULM.
LAFM: Is playing close to home a big factor in your recruitment?
MD: Yes, you always want family to come see you.
LAFM: Have you thought about what you might want to study in college?
MD: Sports Medicine.
LAFM: What are some goals you’ve set for next season?
MD: Next season I want to get bigger and just try to get better overall.
LAFM: Which school is your favorite to play against, or which game gets you the most fired up each year?
MD: Playing against O. Perry Walker and McDonogh 35.
LAFM: What are some of the most memorable games or plays you’ve been a part of?
MD: One of the most memorable plays for me is my first interception. It was against Belle Chasse. In the second quarter I picked it off and changed the game around.
LAFM: And lastly can you give us your current GPA and ACT score?
MD: I have a 20 on the ACT with a 2.5 GPA.
