January 4, 2012 - Jerald Hawkins is the poster boy for the phrase "diamond in the rough" for sleepers in Louisiana out of West St. Mary High School which is close to High Schools like Patterson, Morgan City, Hansen, and Franklin. He reminds me of a former LSU DT/DE named Kendrick Allen who came out of Bogalusa High School and played for LSU and the Cincinnati Bengals in the NFL. Ken played at 6-6, 300 at LSU and was a RB and DT in High School. Jerald played DE/TE for his team at 6-5, 285 and will play Offensive Line in college.
