LAFM: For starters, what’s your current height, weight and forty time?
JK: I’m 6-feet, I weigh 180 and I run a 4.7.
LAFM: Are you originally from Louisiana?
JK: Yes sir – Loranger.
LAFM: Which teams did you root for growing up?
JK: My college team was probably LSU.
LAFM: When did you first start playing football?
JK: I started played football ever since I was little, like in diapers.
LAFM: Has it always been a big part of your family? Have you had any family members who played football in the past?
JK: No, not really, but I’m making sure my brothers are into sports.
LAFM: Do you play any other sports?
JK: Yeah, basketball. I love basketball too. I play point guard and actually got MVP last year
LAFM: At the next level, do you see yourself playing football, basketball or maybe both?
JK: It really doesn’t matter, I’m just trying to get into college and play a sport.
LAFM: Which position do you think is your strongest and where do you see yourself being recruited?
JK: Probably receiver because I get the ball a lot, but I like being on defense too.
LAFM: Is there anyone in college or the Pros that you look up to or try to model your game after?
JK: I like the way [Tyrann] Mathieu plays at LSU. He’s really physical. My receiver is probably Julio Jones. He’s one of those good big receivers who goes up and makes good plays.
LAFM: What do you think is your biggest strength as a player?
JK: Probably after catching the ball or an interception, making cut moves.
LAFM: What part of your game are you trying to improve upon most this season?
JK: I probably need to work on my strength and my quickness.
LAFM: Have you been to any camps at this point? If so, which ones?
JK: No sir, not really.
LAFM: Have you heard from any coaches or received any offers?
JK: I’ve heard from a couple coaches like Southeastern and a couple small schools.
LAFM: Which schools stick out right now at the top of your list?
JK: Not really, not yet.
LAFM: Have you thought about what you might want to study in college?
JK: I’ve been thinking about it but I haven’t made a decision.
LAFM: What are some goals you’ve set for next season, for yourself and for the team?
JK: This year I want to make it to the Dome. We’re pretty good and we’re undefeated this year and my motto is to make it the Dome. Really I just want to make my team win and scores will come as it goes
LAFM: Which school is your favorite to play against, or which game gets you the most fired up each year?
JK: Independence High School – I used to go there during middle school and we haven’t beaten them in 20+ years and I think this will be our year to beat them.
LAFM: What are some of the most memorable games or plays you’ve been a part of?
JK: Yes sir, actually this year I had a game I did pretty good in. I had three touchdowns, two interceptions and I returned a punt against Pearl River.
LAFM: And lastly can you give us your current GPA and ACT score?
JK: I’m signed up for the ACT this month and my GPA is a 2.3.
