LAFM: For starters, what’s your current height, weight and forty time?
LA: I’m 6’1”, I’m 230 and I run a 4.9.
LAFM: Are you originally from Louisiana?
LA: I was born in Dallas but I moved to Louisiana.
LAFM: Which teams did you root for growing up?
LA: I always liked LSU. I was always an LSU fan.
LAFM: When did you first start playing football?
LA: I always played when I was younger with my little cousins in the backyard when I was five or six. So, ever since I was little.
LAFM: Has it always been a big part of your family? Have you had any family members who played football in the past?
LA: All my family members really did play was basketball. I’m the first one.
LAFM: Do you play any other sports?
LA: I play football and basketball – power forward.
LAFM: Do you see yourself playing football, basketball or maybe both in college?
LA: I’m going to focus on football.
LAFM: Do you play any other positions besides defensive end?
LA: I just play defensive end.
LAFM: Is there anyone in college or the Pros that you look up to or try to model your game after?
LA: I like Jevon Kearse. I like the way he uses his moves and his speed.
LAFM: What do you think is your biggest strength as a player and what part of your game are you trying to improve upon most this season?
LA: My biggest strength is that I’m good at pass rushing. One thing I can improve is my tackling.
LAFM: Have you been to any camps at this point? If so, which ones?
LA: I’ve been to a few. I’ve been to LSU, ULL, Louisiana Tech and Northwestern State.
LAFM: Have you heard from any coaches or received any offers?
LA: I have one offer from Northwestern State. I keep in touch with Louisiana Tech and ULL and Monroe.
LAFM: Which schools stick out right now at the top of your list?
LA: I would say LSU is my first one and Louisiana Tech is my second.
LAFM: What are some goals you’ve set for next season, for yourself and for the team?
LA: I aim for at least three sacks a game, but I don’t really have one for the season. We want to win state.
LAFM: Which school is your favorite to play against, or which game gets you the most fired up each year?
LA: I like playing against Ouachita. My coach always gets us hyped up because he’s from Ouachita and we just want to win for him.
LAFM: What are some of the most memorable games or plays you’ve been a part of?
LA: I’d probably say Pineville last year because I had a career night. I think I had three sacks, seven tackles for a loss and 12 total tackles.
LAFM: And lastly can you give us your current GPA and ACT score?
LA: I have a 2.5 and I’m at a 16.
