September 29, 2011 - There's talk from a very reliable source that the number 1 ranked defensive end in the country and number 2 ranked player in the nation, Mario Edwards, Jr., is going to visit LSU. He has tentative plans to visit on October 22nd for the Auburn game, but that could change. He's currently verbally committed to Florida State where his dad, Mario Edwards, Sr., played DB. Mario is 6-4, 275, and runs a 4.5/40. I had a chance to meet Mario's dad who was working a camp in Alexandria four years ago, and I could tell back then that Mario was going to be a D1 player.
