LAFM: For starters, what’s your current height, weight and forty time?
TD: I’m 6’2”, 180. The last time I ran the forty I ran a 4.44.
LAFM: Are you originally from Louisiana?
TD: Yeah, in Breaux Bridge.
LAFM: Which teams did you root for growing up?
TD: Growing up, really I was kind of a ULL fan a little because my dad went to the school. But as I got older, I kind of grew into an LSU fan. I never really liked the Saints, they were never my team. I like the Colts. I used to like the Peyton Manning-Marvin Harrison connection, so that kind of became my team.
LAFM: When did you first start playing football?
TD: In the sixth grade I started playing major football.
LAFM: Has it always been a big part of your family? Have you had any family members who played football in the past?
TD: My relatives played, some of them. But others played baseball.
LAFM: Do you play any other sports?
TD: I run track and I play basketball.
LAFM: What position do you play in basketball and what events do you run in track?
TD: I play forward and run the 4x2, 200, long jump and the high jump.
LAFM: Aside from wide receiver, do you play any other positions?
TD: I return – punt return and kick return.
LAFM: Is there anyone in college or the Pros that you look up to or try to model your game after?
TD: Kind of like Michael Crabtree when I first saw him play at Texas Tech. I wanted to play like him, and I saw Rueben Randle play in high school because our team played against his team in the state championship. I saw him played and wanted to model my game after him.
LAFM: What do you think is your biggest strength as a player and what part of your game are you trying to improve upon most next year?
TD: My ability to go up and get the ball over defenders. And I’d really like to work on my quickness and my hand strength.
LAFM: Have you been to any camps at this point? If so, which ones?
TD: I’ve been just on this summer – I went to LSU camp. But I did go to two of the Badger Sports 7-on-7 tournaments, one in Alabama, and I went to the national championship tournament in Dallas.
LAFM: Which colleges have you received offers from?
TD: Four, from Alabama, ULL, LSU and Tennessee.
LAFM: I know you’re committed to LSU, are you still talking to other schools or staying with LSU?
TD: I’m going to stick with LSU.
LAFM: Have you thought about what you might want to study in college?
TD: I’ve thought about it, and I want to be a sports analyst, so something in the area of journalism or mass communications.
LAFM: What are some goals you’ve set for next season, for yourself and for the team?
TD: I’d like to reach 900 or more receiving yards and 10+ touchdowns.
LAFM: Which school is your favorite to play against, or which game gets you the most fired up each year?
TD: Northside – It’s a rivalry and it’s when I have my biggest games.
LAFM: Going off of that, what are some of your biggest or most memorable games you’ve been a part of?
TD: My sophomore year against Northside. It went to triple overtime and we lost 35-32 and I had four touchdowns.
LAFM: And finally can you give me your current GPA and ACT score?
TD: 3.2 and 16.
