LAFM: For starters, what’s your current height, weight and forty time?

JY: My height is six foot, my weight is 180 and my current 40-time is a 4.9

LAFM: Are you originally from Louisiana?

JY: Yes sir, I grew up in Sherwood.

LAFM: Which teams did you root for growing up?

JY: Growing up I was rooting, for college, LSU and Southern. My Pro team was Tennessee. I liked their colors.

LAFM: When did you first start playing football, and has it always been a big part of your family?

JY: I started playing when I was in little league, probably at like 12. Actually basketball was always a big part but football wasn’t really a big part. I just wanted to do it just for fun.

LAFM: So you said basketball is a big part, what position do you play?

JY: I play point guard.

LAFM: Is it just football and basketball or do you play another sport?

JY: I play football basketball and run track. I do the triple jump, the long jump, the 4x4 and the 4x1.

LAFM: We have you listed as wide receiver and a safety, do you play any other positions?

JY: I play wide receiver, safety, DB and sometime running back.

LAFM: Where do you see yourself playing at the next level?

JY: Either wide receiver or a DB.

LAFM: Is there anyone in college or the Pros that you try to model your game after?

JY: I look at Ochocinco’s play a lot. I like his quick feet and the way he talks noise and can back it up.

LAFM: What do you think is your biggest strength as a player and what part of your game are you trying to improve upon most next year?

JY: My biggest strength I think would be my smartness and how to get around stuff. My biggest weakness I think would be more explosive.

LAFM: Have you been to any camps at this point? If so, which ones?

JY: I’ve been to a few camps. I went to Alcorn and a few little camps on the side.

LAFM: Which colleges have you heard from so far?

JY: A few Ivy League schools, Nicholls called me, and Southeastern and Southern. And a few schools around here like ULM and ULL.

LAFM: You mentioned the Ivy League schools, is academics a big factor in your decision?

JY: Yeah, it’s really important. My mom said if I didn’t have a 3.0, I couldn’t play. So I had to achieve a 3.0 to play.

LAFM: Which schools stick out right now at the top of your list?

JY: Whoever is going to give me a ride.

LAFM: Have you thought about what you might want to study in college?

JY: Business.

LAFM: Which school is your favorite to play against, or which game gets you the most fired up each year?

JY: This year is probably going to be Lutcher because it’s the most competition.
