Give me 5 reasons why you choose Tulane for your college choice.

1) Proximity to home. I can have the feeling of being away for college while also still have the ability to go back home on a long weekend. 2) Education is top in the country.  When I decided on a school I had to decide on a place that will help me once football is over. 3) Being able to play in the Conference USA was the best Conference, I felt, out of the schools that had offered. 4) The coaching staff is great. They were the first to offer early on in my junior year and never let up on the recruiting. I’ve formed a great relationship with the Tight Ends coach & Recruiting Coordinator Doug Lictenberger over the past couple of years. 5) Having other guys there already from my high school.  Having Kasey Stelly and Cameron DeJean at Tulane already, and coming in with Sam Scoefield and a few other guys from our area, definitely will make the transition an easy on into college.

Name some other Colleges that offered you.

ULL Lafayette, UL-Monroe, Memphis, Miami Ohio, McNeese State, Southeastern & Northwestern State.

What is your current Height and Weight?

6-5, 230 pounds.

What do you want to be in size when you report in the fall to Tulane?

I hope to report in at around 235 or 240 so that I have the ability to put on more weight once I start lifting with the team.

Will you play Tight End to start off at Tulane?

Yes.

Did the coaches tell you, you would Redshirt or play as a true freshman?

I am not sure whether I will Redshirt or not. The coaches have not told me.

What will you major in at Tulane?

My decision is still up in the air.  I’m looking to major in some non-science, while minoring in a biology so I can get into Dental school.

Did having former STM players at Tulane help in your choice?

Having other guys at Tulane definitely helped in my decision. Just having the comfort of being able to go in with some people that I know just makes the whole transition from high school to college a little easier.

How hard was it to not choose UL Lafayette, where so many of your family members attended?

It was tough to not choose ULL, but when the new coaching staff came in it made it a little easier.  I became really close with the old coaching staff and felt very comfortable with them. Once the new staff came in, they did not know much about me or my family. The new staff also offered me as an Offensive Lineman, something that I was not ready to try and transition to.

Who’s your idol growing up for football or 2 different players in college or NFL?

I had three idols growing up for football. My three older brothers were my idols. I got to watch them in all of their high school careers and I wanted mine to be just as fun and exciting as theirs was. College and NFL I liked Tim Tebow from the Florida Gators & NFL Drew Brees.
