| Taylor Jenkins |
January 19, 2011 - I had a chance to sit down with Taylor Jenkins, a tough Defensive End from Central High School, and he gave me an update with his recruiting.
“My favorite schools right now are McNeese State, Southeastern, and Nicholls State in no order. The best facilities, I find, are at McNeese State. They are really big time and model very similar to LSU,” said Jenkins.
Taylor will visit all three and then sit down and decide which one he likes best overall before he commits. Taylor has the ability to weigh 250 pounds easy on his 6-3 frame, and still be quick enough outside. Whoever gets this kid is getting a DI caliber defensive end in my opinion. He’s got the size and plays with a high motor every game.
Here’s an interesting note. McNeese State is recruiting him as a H Back on offense, while Southeastern and Nicholls State are both recruiting him as a LB/DE.
