| Chaz Cavignac |
November 3, 2010 - There’s a sleeper prospect from Northshore High School in Slidell, Louisiana, that’s 6-4, 270 pounds and runs a 5.3 forty yard dash, and can play Center, OT or OG in college. His name is Chaz Cavignac. He also has a 21 ACT score and a 3.1 GPA.
Chaz is one of those kids that could play Center, OG or OT in college depending on the size of the college. If it’s a IAA school he’s an OT, and if it’s a DI program he’s a OG, OT or Center. Chaz just needs to add about 20 more pounds to his frame to be DI, and not lose his quickness. Once he’s around 290 hes got a chance to be a pretty good player in college. In IAA football he’s already big enough to play for most programs. Chaz can Bench Press 350 pounds, Squat 400, and Clean 235, which are all pretty strong for the next level. Remember when you play OT or OG in College for most DI programs who have to be a little heavier to take one those 305 to 320 pound Defensive Tackles.
Chaz also throws the Shot Put close to 40 feet, and throws the Discus in Track. His favorite colleges in order are LSU, Alabama, Florida, Tulane, and Southern Mississippi. The schools he will have the most chance to get offers are Tulane and Southern Mississippi. LSU, Alabama, and Florida haven’t offered.
