| Adrian Reese |
September 27, 2010 - I meet a young football player back in the spring of this year named Adrian Reese, and took his picture at Northwestern State University, and came away very impressed . Reese is a transfer from Texas Tech in the Big 12 Conference, and backed up many smaller slot WR’s while he was there with then head coach Mike Leach.
Adrian Reese is listed at 6-7 going into his senior season for football, but I think he’s more like 6-6, weighs about 210, runs a 4.6/40, and has good hands. Even though Northwestern State is currently 1-3 in the win loss department, this kid is one of the bright spots for a team who’s young and talented on offense. This past weekend’s game Adrian caught 7 passes for 123 yards with average of 17.6 yards per catch. In four games Reese has 12 Catches and 1 TD. This is a kid who can easily weigh about 230 pounds in the NFL, and has so much upside for the next level. It would be scary what this kid could do if he put on another 15 pounds. This is a very smart kid and has so much untapped upside as a WR. Six foot six Wide Receivers are hard to cover at any level.
Adrian is on track to catch 35 to 40 passes this year, and that will get the attention of NFL scouts.
