| Punter Cody Mandell - Alabama |
Cody Mandell, a former Acadiana High School stud at Punter, signed with Tulane for the 2010 class, but did not enroll and started game 1 for Alabama, and all he did was average 40 yards a punt in game one, with a great hang time. Mandell is 6-4 and weighs 201 pounds.
Dexter McCoil (6-4, 185), FS from Lutcher High School, lead Tulsa with 7 tackles, and actually would have had more, but left game for a few plays because of an injury.
DE Tyrann Walker (6-3, 250), a former Westgate High School star, had 7 tackles and several rushes in his first game for Tulsa. Walker signed in the 2010 class, and to me was the best looking DE I’ve seen in a while come out of Louisiana. Walker signed from a Junior College in the 2010 class. This kid is a man among boys on the field.
