| Tracy Allen |
Tracy Allen will get in the 265 to 270 range in college and blossom. That’s why Center might be his best bet because as a Center you don’t have to weigh 280 to 300 pounds. This kid is being coached by one of the best, in Head Coach Frank Monica, who was a college coach at Tulane, and has a ton of College coaching experience in teaching young men the game.
In the weight room, Allen squats an impressive 455 pounds, benches 305, and cleans 225. Those are strong lifts for a kid just 240 pounds. In track he throws the shot put and holds his own there also.
I have Tracy Allen down as a sleeper, because most college coaches these days like the lineman to be over 260, but as you see every year in recruiting the Centers are the last kids to be offered on the offensive line. What’s crazy is they’re the QB of a college line and most important piece. If for some reason Tracy doesn’t get a DI offer, he can play DE or DT for a IAA program, but D1 he would be an Offensive Lineman
Tracy listed his top colleges in this order LSU, Tulane, Southeastern, Baylor, TCU, and ULM.
