Shedrick Davis - Central
Hargrave Prep School Bound
Stud WR Shedrick Davis (6-2, 210) from Central High School will be attending powerhouse Prep School Hargrave Academy in Virginia. Davis in my opinion has a NFL future because of his hands and toughness and work ethic. He has deceptive speed on the football field, running in the 4.6 range, but I predict after year in prep school he will run in the 4.5 forty range. He could be one of the top 5 players coming out of prep school in 2011 class. Everybody will want to sign this kid after the 2011 season. Stay tuned

Paul Hunt - Central
California Bound Maybe
LB Paul Hunt (6-2, 220) from Central HS is talking to Fullerton Junior College right outside of Los Angeles, CA. Look for Fullerton to offer this kid a scholarship in the next 4 days. I’ve talked to Fullerton and they like this kid a lot. Who would not like him. He’s 6-2, 220, can run a 4.69 forty, and has the frame to weigh 230 pounds for DIV 1 football. Paul would have signed a DIV 1 scholarship if he had another year of football. 2010 was his first year to actually start for Central. Paul was a transfer from Northeast High School. This kid is tall and lean at 220.

Deuce Coon - Redemptorist
Deuce to Mississippi Junior College
Star Redemptorist QB/ATH Deuce Coon will be attending Jones Mississippi Junior College for the 2010 season. Deuce, who’s originally from Chicago, IL, had a great senior season for the wolves, and could be a WR or CB in Junior College, or could even stay at QB for Jones, depending on their need for the 2010 season. Coon can run a true 4.5 forty, and he might even have that time better by the time he’s out of Junior College in two years for the 2012 season. Deuce has the perfect size for WR or CB, 6-0, 185 pounds, and still growing. I would not be surprised if he’s 195 to 200 pounds by the time he signs a DIV 1 scholarship in two years, and running a 4.5 forty or better. Deuce reminds me a lot of Corey Webster, who was 6-0, 180 in high school at St. James, before he signed with LSU, and no currently plays for the New York Giants, where he has a Super Bowl ring. Remember Corey Webster was a QB in High School like Deuce Coon.
