April 19, 2010 - Jordan Corbin (TE/DE) from Lakeland, FL, and Kentravious Aubrey (DT) from Bastrop High School were both going to be great football players at LSU. However their careers ended due to injuries. I wanted to update you on these kids to let you know that they are still in school and still on scholarship so that they can get their degrees from LSU even though they aren’t playing football anymore. These are called medical casualties and the NCAA does not count these toward the 85 scholarship limit. Both players would probably be starting this coming year or at least on the 2 deep had they not gotten hurt.
